DOGE Finds Dem-Run States To Blame For Most Unemployment Fraud

Following the discovery of $382 million in fraudulent unemployment payments since 2020, the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has pinpointed California, New York, and Massachusetts — all governed by Democrat supermajorities — as the primary sources of these improper disbursements.

According to DOGE officials, the three deep blue states were accountable for $305 million of the misallocated funds, as reported by Fox News.

Furthermore, DOGE highlighted that California alone represented 68% of the benefits allocated under former President Joe Biden to parolees identified by federal authorities as being on the government’s terrorist watchlist or possessing criminal records. California, New York, and Massachusetts all exhibit a Democratic trifecta, with Democrats holding control over the state House, Senate, and governorship.

Additionally, these states possess a Democratic triplex, with party dominance in the Attorney General, Secretary of State, and governorship, as noted by Fox.

There is a significant reason behind the large-scale migration from states governed by Democrats, which have poorly managed their economies, prompting residents to relocate to Republican-led states,” stated White House spokesperson Harrison Fields in an interview with Fox News Digital. “Excessive taxation, inadequate management of taxpayer funds, and progressive policies continue to produce adverse outcomes, which is why there is widespread support among Americans for the initiatives of DOGE.

Earlier this week, DOGE disclosed that since 2020, hundreds of millions of dollars in fraudulent unemployment benefits were distributed to tens of thousands of individuals with evidently invalid birth records—some individuals were recorded as being over 115 years old, others were between the ages of 1 and 5, and some even had birthdates set in the future.

“This represents yet another remarkable finding by the DOGE team, uncovering nearly $400 million in fraudulent unemployment payments. The Labor Department is dedicated to recovering the tax dollars that have been misappropriated from Americans. We will apprehend these criminals and continue our efforts to eliminate such blatant fraud,” remarked Labor Department Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer, according to Fox.

This week, DOGE reported that under the Biden administration, it has become commonplace to permit immigrants with minimal screening. Consequently, over 6,000 individuals with criminal histories or flagged on the FBI’s terror watchlist were granted entry into the United States.

Additionally, DOGE discovered that many of these individuals accessed public benefits, including approximately $42,000 from the federal unemployment insurance program.

They also received assistance from federal student loan programs, food aid programs, and IRS tax refunds, as further noted in the report. In contrast, the Trump administration had terminated parole for individuals with criminal records or those listed on the FBI’s terror watchlist.

During a Cabinet meeting on Thursday, Musk revealed the anticipated savings that the DOGE team is projected to provide to U.S. taxpayers next year by minimizing government waste.

Speaking in the Cabinet Room of the West Wing in front of the president’s senior officials, Musk indicated that DOGE is poised to save $150 billion in the fiscal year 2026. ‘Owing to your exceptional leadership, this remarkable Cabinet, and the highly skilled DOGE team, I am pleased to announce that we expect to achieve savings in FY 26 through the reduction of waste and fraud amounting to $150 billion,’ Musk stated, as reported by DailyMail.com.

He further remarked that several government programs identified by his DOGE team are ‘absurd’ and ‘crazy.’ ‘For instance, individuals receiving unemployment insurance who have not yet been born,’ he added.

Although the anticipated savings for the upcoming fiscal year are substantial, the estimate significantly underachieves the group’s initial goal for reducing federal payroll costs.

Initially, Musk set a target to eradicate $2 trillion in waste, fraud, and abuse. He subsequently adjusted this figure, referring to it as a ‘best-case scenario,’ and indicated that a more realistic objective is approximately $1 trillion—still considerably above current estimates.

Nonetheless, achieving a savings of $150 billion for the U.S. in a matter of months is an impressive accomplishment, one that offers benefits to every American through the individual savings it produces. As reported on the DOGE website, this initiative has already resulted in a savings of $931 for each taxpayer.

Killed 13 people in Russia after military plane hits building

A Russian military jet has crashed into a residential building shortly after taking off near the border with  Ukraine , sparking a major fire that has reportedly left at least 13 people dead, according to Russian news agency Interfax, citing a senior official. Video and photographs uploaded to social media on Monday showed a residential building engulfed in flames in Yeysk, a port and resort town in  Russia located just south of the Ukrainian city of Mariupol across the Sea of Azov. The Su-34 fighter-bomber crashed into the building shortly after take-off at the nearby Yuzhny airbase, the Russian defence ministry said in a statement. The cause of the crash was an engine fire that prevented the jet, which can be used on bombing runs or to engage other aircraft, from gaining altitude. The plane, which the ministry said was on a training flight, was carrying a payload that detonated after impact, preventing firefighters from reaching the fire for some time. Video showed at...
