Time Traveler Caught Using Smartphone at Boxing Match in 1995

The first phone with camera capabilities was sold in 2000, yet someone discovered a “smartphone” appearing in a video of the 1995 boxing match between Mike Tyson and Peter McNeeley.

The person who spotted this unusual detail was YouTube user JammyBantam. According to their explanation, the object the man was holding had a camera on one side, just like a smartphone.
Among the many theories presented, conspiracy theorists believe that the man was a time traveler from the future. Otherwise, he could be from a planet more advanced than Earth.
However, a member of the AllThings Creepy forum said the camera shown in the clip closely resembles some contemporary camera models from Casio and Logitech.
A clip from the Tyson vs. McNeeley fight shows a man sitting in the front row using a camera that looks strikingly similar to a smartphone. This is an illogical detail, as camera phones only appeared on the market in 2000.
Since appearing on YouTube in September 2015, the suspicion that a time traveler used a smartphone during the Mike Tyson match remains an open question — an unsolved mystery.
Previously, heated online debates also emerged over suspicions of modern gadgets appearing in ancient times, such as a Greek sculpture from 100 B.C. that seemed to show a laptop-like object with a full USB port. More recently, archaeologists in Mongolia discovered a 1,500-year-old mummy wearing Adidas sneakers.
